Parents all over the world trust Béaba to help them prepare fresh, nutritious foods for their baby in minutes. Béaba cookware’s modern design, French style, and safe and durable materials have made it a favorite for more than 35 years. Béaba engaged ehouse to help its North American subsidiary navigate the technological “growing pains” of managing merchandising and marketing independently from the parent company in order to respond more quickly to the North American market.

A blended approach to merchandising and marketing wasn’t working for the North American subsidiary of European baby food blender and cookware company Béaba. To localize content, be more responsive to consumer trends, and increase average order value (AOV), Béaba North America needed to more rapidly update merchandising and marketing content targeted to US and Canadian customers. The request: a commerce solution that would provide more flexibility and speed and be easy for a small team to manage, while still leveraging the parent company’s centralized ERP platform in Europe.
ehouse served up a delicious strategy for Béaba North America, moving them from Salesforce Cloud Commerce to Shopify and standing up a new site with refreshed branding using a pre-built theme with minor customizations.
Data integration strategy: Because the client wasn’t deprecating an old site, it wasn’t a true migration and required some custom development to make everything work seamlessly. ehouse devised a data integration plan to identify the products available in North America, ensure that central ERP updates were synced to the new site, and map the data to the new product detail pages (PDPs) so that it would appear in the right places. All this was done without deleting any historical data from the ERP and ensuring that the main Béaba site functioned without any interruption.
AOV boost: In addition to Shopify’s core functionality that makes it easy for the Béaba team to frequently and quickly update content, ehouse developed a custom bundle builder solution for desktop and mobile to support the client’s goal of increasing AOV.
Marketing strategy: The team integrated Shopify Markets to enable language translation and pricing for US and Canadian customers. The ehouse Professional Services team worked with Béaba to implement ad campaigns on Google and Meta, focusing on expanding performance through strategic mid-to-high-funnel non-branded terms to unlock incremental demand and drive net-new customer growth. Additionally, ehouse designed automated email and SMS campaigns, including for new customer welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and customer winback.
Within three months of working with ehouse, Beaba saw a consistently higher return on ad spend and a significant increase in new customer conversions.
