2011 Addy Awards

As I watched my dear friend "Hartwell" peel into the parking lot in his pickup truck and hop out in head to toe hunting attire, I knew I had arrived at the 2011 Charleston Addy Awards. We headed inside to meet up with the rest of the eHouse gang and have a good time.

While actual hunting is not my thing, I was game for a night at the Charleston Rifle club in my best attempt at hunting attire and ready to see some great local talent. The awards had a great display of graphic design, print design, interactive design, and more. The talent that was represented by local business and students was inspiring and made me proud to be a part of this group.

we are constantly motivated and inspired by others in the industry on a national level as well as locally

While the team was attempting to consume our ticket value in chili dogs and beer, we mingled with friends and other local creatives. One thing that struck me as nothing but awesome, was the support and general appreciation for one another’s business work and success that may have other wise been seen as competition. While I know the team at eHouse works incredibly hard in order to create work we are proud of, we are constantly motivated and inspired by others in the industry on a national level as well as locally. We are honored to be working among such great talent in Charleston. Although we were gunning for the stuffed deer head, we are super excited to be decorating our shelves and walls with two gold awards, a silver, and two bronze awards.

GOLD
The Coastal Cupboard
Jewell & Ginnie

SILVER
Pantech USA

BRONZE
PURE Grips

The night offered some great people watching, exercise worthy calorie consumption, and an uplifting display of the talent that comes out of this place we call the low country. Congratulations to all the award winners and hats off to Best In Show!
