La Quinta Resort & Spa

Located in Palm Springs, California and surrounded by picturesque landscapes and five world-class championship golf courses, La Quinta Resort and Club has been featured in USA Today, Travel and Leisure, The Chicago Tribune and elsewhere. And yet, as nice as such write-ups are, La Quinta wasn’t capturing the kind of Internet traffic one would expect from such a top-notch resort. They turned to {e} house to help take their online efforts up to the level they deserve.

From golf to tennis to spa services to wedding hosting to the beauty of the Santa Rosa mountains, La Quinta offers something for just about everyone. Which, to us, meant just about everyone who’s never heard of La Quinta would be interested in discovering the resort. Given that the number one way anyone discovers anything is through Internet searches, we chose to give La Quinta a blog-powered e-magazine where each daily post would be individually indexed on search engines. In that way, someone searching for Palm Springs golf courses, would find a link to a La Quinta post describing the nearby courses and mentioning deals for golfers. In the same way, those looking for info on Palm Springs weddings, would find a link to a La Quinta post describing a recent event and what accommodations are offered at the resort. In this way, an e-magazine becomes a much richer source of leads than any traditional website. But since we like going the extra step, we also developed email templates so that La Quinta could promote specific events to its growing list of past and future guests.
