{e} house studio is a web design, development and marketing firm located in Downtown Charleston. We're currently looking for a college student or recent graduate with the skill set, strong design portfolio, and personality that will fit with our team. At {e}, we create simple, clean, and usable websites that get people to the information they are looking for quickly and easily. We're a boutique firm, so the intern will have a unique opportunity to work directly with the senior developer, art director and creative director.
Required Qualifications Include:
- Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite of applications including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Ability to take direction and constructive critique
- Knowledge of CSS and HTML are a plus
- Outgoing team-oriented person with desire to contribute
Intern Duties Include:
- Generate web-ready graphics for various projects (i.e., design support)
- Collaborate in design process
- Contribute to company blog
- When appropriate, join client meetings to experience client presentations and design consultations
- Participate in weekly production meetings
